Hye jung Kim presents illustrated works and animation about animal rights and the value of life. After adopting a dog from an animal shelter, Kim has been expressing her thoughts on the lives of animals and the environment through art. The personal experience with the companion animal has led her to reflect further on all living things around us, and to suggest that a relationship with animals is to be formed not for the advantage of humans, but based on understanding and respect. Kim reminds us that all animals are living beings with feelings, with whom we should be in symbiosis.
